Ford brought back the spirit of the American street truck with the Maverick Lobo and now, it’s turning up the heat.

At SEMA 2025, the Blue Oval unveiled the Maverick 300T a high-performance build that transforms its smallest pickup into a tarmac-tuned muscle machine, packing an estimated 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque and unlike most show trucks, this one isn’t just for show.

A production-ready version of the 300T performance kit is coming in 2026 and it’s built to be street legal, dealer-supported, and ready for real-world abuse.

The heart of the 300T lies in its upgraded 2.0L EcoBoost engine already known for efficiency, but now tuned for thrills.

Key powertrain enhancements include:

  • Larger turbocharger from the Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost
  • Mishimoto front-mount intercooler for improved cooling
  • ProCal 4 performance tuning for optimized boost, timing, and throttle response

The result? A healthy +50 horsepower and +40 lb-ft over stock bringing total output to approximately 300 hp and 317 lb-ft.

Even better: the upgrade is 50-state emissions legal and backed by a three-year Ford Performance Parts warranty as long as installation is performed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician.

This isn’t a gray-market mod. It’s factory-approved performance.

  • Ford didn’t stop at power. The 300T rides on a comprehensive chassis upgrade:
  • Lowering suspension: -10 mm front / -30 mm rear
  • Street-oriented springs and dampers from the Lobo parts bin
  • Upgraded stabilizer bar and performance bushings for sharper turn-in
  • Firmly tuned dampers for reduced body roll

Rolling on head-turning 20-inch bronze alloy wheels borrowed from the Mach-E GT, the build wears Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on the show floor though Ford recommends Pirelli P Zero Elect for production use, especially for wet-grip balance.

Visual aggression comes via:

  • Air Design front spoiler
  • Functional fender vents
  • Borla sport exhaust system with sleek black chrome tips

It’s not loud it’s confident.

From nose to tail, the 300T wears its performance pride:

  • "300T" decals on the hood and doors
  • Bronze-finished Maverick badging on the tailgate
  • Ford Performance branding throughout
  • Interior touches include serialized plaque options and custom trim hints

It’s a look that says: I may be small but I’m serious.

The best part? This package isn’t limited to a single trim.

It will be available for AWD-equipped Maverick XL, XLT, and Lariat models meaning even work-focused buyers can get in on the action.

While the SEMA truck is a one-off showcase, Ford confirms a production version of the 300T performance kit will go on sale next year, giving enthusiasts a plug-and-play way to unlock their Maverick’s hidden potential.

No fabrication. No guesswork. Just bolt-on excitement.
