Fifteen years after the last Honda S2000 rolled off the line, the legend isn’t just alive it’s been supercharged, widened, and reborn as a 580-horsepower street weapon.
Los Angeles-based Bulletproof Automotive known for high-performance builds, race engineering, and precision tuning has unveiled the BP25, a tribute to both the iconic roadster and the company’s 25th anniversary.
And this is no mild restomod.
This is an S2000 reimagined at the edge of physics.
At its core lies a fully rebuilt 2.0-liter inline-four, based on the legendary F20C engine block, but now forced-fed by a Vortech V2-Si supercharger.
The result?
- Over 580 horsepower
- Revving to a screaming 10,000 rpm redline
- Peak power at 9,300 rpm right where the S2000 was born to shine
To handle the boost and fuel demands:
- Injector Dynamics high-flow fuel injectors
- Upgraded high-pressure fuel system
- Science of Speed racing heat exchanger for optimal charge cooling
- Full Amuse titanium exhaust system, including custom manifold delivering a scream worthy of Mount Asama
It’s not just more power it’s precision-tuned fury.

Power flows through the beloved AP2 six-speed manual transmission, now enhanced with:
- ACT lightweight flywheel
- Short-throw shifter for razor-sharp engagement
From there, torque hits the rear wheels via a Drexler/ASM limited-slip differential ensuring every drop of grip is exploited.
Suspension is pure track craftsmanship:
- Top Secret Super Dampers Coilover Kit
- Complemented by suspension components from J’s Racing, Spoon Sports, and EVS
- Tuned for aggressive camber, responsive turn-in, and composure at speed
This isn’t a show car. It’s built to attack canyon roads and circuit straights alike.
Visually, the S2000 sheds its modesty.
Clad in the Varis Dark Panther widebody kit, the BP25 gains:
- Flared fenders for wider rubber
- Functional carbon-fiber aerodynamics
- Vented hood for heat extraction
- Lightweight carbon trunk for reduced rear weight
Painted in Lamborghini Balloon White the same shade used on Bulletproof’s original Concept One the finish is clean, bold, and unmistakable.
Rolling on 19-inch BP-RW Evolution wheels, the design draws inspiration from Tsuchime a traditional Japanese hammered metal technique seen in artisan cutlery and cookware. The result? A unique, hand-crafted aesthetic that blends motorsport with cultural detail.

Drive hard.
Bulletproof Automotive named this masterpiece the BP25 a nod to 25 years of pushing boundaries in tuning, fabrication, and automotive artistry.
The car made its global debut at SEMA 2025 in Las Vegas, where it will remain on display through November 7 drawing crowds who remember the S2000’s golden era and dream of what it could become.
