Lamborghini Fenomeno Specs, Price, and Release Date: Everything We Know |
Lamborghini has unveiled its most extreme creation yet: the Fenomeno a breathtaking, ultra-limited supercar that redefines what’s possible from the Italian marque. Built on the foundation of the flagship Revuelto, this "few-off" masterpiece combines the most powerful naturally aspirated V-12 in Lamborghini history with advanced hybrid performance, radical aerodynamics, and a bold new design language.
And with only 29 units planned for production, it may also be one of the rarest modern Lamborghinis ever made.
Unlike traditional Lamborghini models named after Spanish fighting bulls, Fenomeno breaks tradition. The name Italian for "Phenomenon" first surfaced in trademark filings earlier this year, complete with an official logo in classic Lamborghini font. While the automaker hasn’t explained the choice, the name couldn’t be more fitting.
This isn’t just another hypercar. It’s a statement.
At its core lies a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine, heavily evolved from the Revuelto. With a redesigned valvetrain and optimized intake system, it now produces 823 horsepower and 534 lb-ft of torque making it the most powerful atmospheric V-12 Lamborghini has ever built.

But the real magic comes from electrification:
- Two electric motors on the front axle (each producing 147 hp / 258 lb-ft) enable full torque vectoring and instant response
- A third e-motor mounted on the dual-clutch transmission adds even more punch
Total system output? An earth-shattering 1,065 horsepower delivered through Lamborghini’s sophisticated Y-type hybrid architecture.
Like the Revuelto, the Fenomeno rides on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, but takes lightweight engineering further:
- Body panels crafted entirely from carbon fiber
- Front crash structure made from forged composite short carbon fibers in resin, offering high strength at low weight
The result is a car that’s both stiffer and lighter than its already impressive donor platform essential for handling and agility.
Lamborghini calls the Fenomeno a “design manifesto” a glimpse into the future of the brand’s styling direction.
Led by design director Mitja Borkert, the team created “a hyper-elegant design piece that is as refined and sophisticated as it is athletic and essential.” The result? A futuristic wedge with sharp lines, dramatic angles, and unmistakable Y-shaped accents that echo the brand’s Terzo Millennio concept from 2017.
“It’s an unexpectedly elegant spaceship,” Borkert said, “made entirely from carbon fiber while remaining true to our heritage.”
Performance isn’t just about power it’s about how you manage it. The Fenomeno features:
- An S-duct in the front bumper for improved airflow
- Redesigned doors that channel air into massive NACA-style side intakes, a nod to the original Countach
- Active aerodynamic elements that optimize downforce and cooling
These enhancements help deliver a blistering 0–60 mph time of just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed officially listed as “over 217 mph” likely closer to 220+.

Stopping such a beast requires serious hardware:
- Carbon-ceramic brakes developed using technology from Lamborghini’s LMDh endurance racing program
- Manually adjustable suspension for track tuning
- A groundbreaking 6D sensor system the first of its kind on a production Lamborghini
This innovative system monitors acceleration, pitch, roll, yaw, and lateral forces in real time, allowing the car to dynamically adjust power delivery, traction control, and stability systems for maximum grip whether cornering hard or launching off the line.
The Fenomeno joins an elite club of ultra-rare Lamborghinis created by Centro Stile, including:
- Reventón
- Sesto Elemento
- Veneno
- Centenario
- Sián
- Revived Countach LPI 800-4
While Lamborghini hasn't announced pricing, expect the Fenomeno to cost several million dollars per unit potentially rivaling the $5.6M Veneno in value.
Given its exclusivity and debut at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering, it’s almost certain that all 29 examples have already been claimed by collectors before public release.
That means today’s unveiling might be your only chance to see one in person.
