Infiniti isn’t waiting long after the 2025 update to refresh the QX80. For 2026, the full-size luxury SUV receives subtle but meaningful changes including a new Sport trim, revised styling, and across-the-board price increases driven partly by a higher destination charge.

The most notable shift? The Sensory trim has been discontinued and replaced by the more distinctive Sport grade, bringing fresh design cues and a bolder presence to the lineup.

The 2026 QX80 Pure RWD now starts at $85,940, including a new $2,190 destination charge a $1,500 increase over the 2025 model’s starting price of $84,445 (which included a lower $1,695 fee). Even accounting for the destination bump, trims are still priced higher overall.

Other key price changes:

  • Luxe trim: Up $1,495
  • New Sport trim: $1,500 more than the outgoing Sensory
  • Autograph trim: Now starts at $113,690, an increase of $1,100

Despite the hikes, Infiniti continues to position the QX80 as a competitive alternative to the Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade in the ultra-luxury SUV segment.

Replacing the Sensory, the QX80 Sport brings a more aggressive aesthetic:

  • New front grille design
  • Restyled front bumper
  • Unique 22-inch alloy wheels
  • Dark chrome accents on mirror caps, emblems, and bumpers

Inside, the Sport trim features a striking dark blue interior paired with real wood trim and dark chrome finishes a sophisticated look that sets it apart from the more traditional Luxe and Autograph models.

Available only with four-wheel drive, the Sport trim starts at $104,140, positioning it just below the range-topping Autograph, which remains the most luxurious option in the lineup.

Mechanically, the 2026 QX80 carries over unchanged:

  • 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine
  • 450 horsepower, 516 lb-ft of torque
  • Paired with a smooth-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission

Fuel economy remains modest, per EPA estimates:

  • Rear-wheel drive: 16 city / 20 highway / 18 combined mpg
  • Four-wheel drive: 16 city / 19 highway / 17 combined mpg

While not efficient by modern standards, the powertrain delivers strong towing capability and confident performance for such a large SUV.
