Hyundai’s all-electric three-row SUV, the 2025 Ioniq 9, is set to hit dealerships soon with an impressive range of up to 335 miles on a single charge. The vehicle will be offered in six different trim levels , starting at a base price of $60,555, which includes the $1,600 destination fee.

The entry-level model, known as the Ioniq 9 S, features a single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup producing 215 horsepower, along with that top-tier 335-mile range. For those seeking more performance, the highest-spec variant the Performance Calligraphy Design  comes in at $78,090.

Mid-tier trims include the SE and SEL, both equipped with dual motors and all-wheel drive, delivering 303 horsepower and a maximum range of 320 miles. The top three performance-oriented versions crank things up even further, offering 422 horsepower and a still-impressive 311-mile range. These high-output models can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds , making them quite quick for a large electric SUV.

In terms of size, the Ioniq 9 measures nearly 200 inches in length, with a 123.2-inch wheelbase, providing generous interior space. With all three rows in use, passengers still enjoy a combined 80.7 inches of legroom, while the unique roof design and flat floor plan contribute to 74.8 inches of headroom. The vehicle’s large 110.3-kWh battery pack is cleverly integrated beneath the cabin.

As Hyundai’s fourth EV currently available in the U.S., the Ioniq 9 joins the ranks of the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and Kona Electric. It will be manufactured at the company’s new plant in Georgia , marking a major step forward in Hyundai’s electrification strategy.

For comparison, the closely related Kia EV9 offers similar specs but starts slightly lower at $57,090, positioning it as a more budget-friendly sibling to the Ioniq 9.
