Hyundai has just announced the price for the Kona compact crossover. Revised for 2024, prices are up about $2,000 by 2023, starting at $24,435 for the base SE model, including a $1,335 destination charge. Going all-in on the Limited costs $32,985 before options, while the N Line starts at $31,985. 

Currently, the 2024 Hyundai Kona is available for order in N Line and Limited trims, with SE and SEL trims to follow this fall. 

The new crossover is larger than the outgoing 2023 model, with a wheelbase that's 2.3 inches longer and 5.7 inches longer.

The new design includes a less pronounced grille and headlights, a revised rear bumper and a revised trunk lid. Among the big changes for the Kona are a pair of 12.3-inch screens, mounted on the center console and one in front of the driver. Even so, there are still plenty of physical buttons for commonly used controls, reducing the complexity of the infotainment system. Other changes include the front package and a slimmer seatback to slightly increase the rear legroom and a column-position shifter in the middle of the front seat. 

Two four-cylinder engines from the 2023 Hyundai Kona. The base powertrain is a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. A 1.6-liter turbocharged engine is optional and produces 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. In addition to the gasoline model, Hyundai has introduced a new 2024 electric model, which will be available later this year.
