2024 Acura Integra Type S Debuts With 320 HP 2024 Acura Integra Type S Debuts With 320 HP When released this summer, the 2024 Acura Integra Type S will produce 320 horsepower. We'll get a full look at the model next month when Acura officially unveils it ahead of the 48th annual Acura Grand Prix in Long Beach, California. The Integra S model will get its power from a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that also produces 310 pound-feet of torque. The only gearbox available is a short-range six-speed manual transmission. Acura says the Model S will have "class-leading capabilities." The S model produces more power than the standard Integra, with 200bhp on tap from a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder. It does more than the Civic R model , which uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder to produce 310 hp that can power the Acura. We drove the Integra S model late last year, learning that the sedan will borrow the R's front and rear suspension and other parts. 2024 Acura

Volkswagen is reinvigorating the Atlas family for the 2024 model year, which includes the 2024 Atlas Cross Sport. The Cross Sport is a two-row version of the Atlas and features a coupe-style roof. Here's what we know about VW's updated SUV.

The Atlas Cross Sport was first launched in 2020 and is a standalone model although it functions like the standard Atlas and shares the same design. Its upcoming update for 2024 marks the first annual update since the Cross Sport launched.

The redesigned exterior of the 2024 Cross Sport features a wider grille for a more aggressive look, and the front fascia has been redesigned to better reflect the small Taos' design language. Obviously, LED lighting is now looking for the front end. This will create the effect of a single continuous LED in the trim on the top of the model, which reflects the LED daytime running lights. The VW logo is also given light in the neutral model.

The Cross Sport gets longer spoilers and new wheel options for 2024, ranging from 18 to 21 inches. An aggressive rear diffuser is also added to help differentiate the Cross Sport from the regular Atlas.

Along with the cosmetic changes on the exterior, VW is giving the Cross Sport some serious changes. Everything is upgraded, including the leather dashboard and leather seats. The door trim has been redesigned to create a seamless face on the dashboard for a more premium display. Speaking of the dash, the 2024 Cross Sport now has a 12-inch floating infotainment screen. The Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Pro 10.25-inch configurable gauge cluster is now standard on all trims. Up to eight USB-C ports are available, with App-Connect and wireless charging as standard.

VW's IQ.DRIVE driver assistance suite is also standard on the Atlas Cross sports range for 2024. It includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assistance and adaptive semi-automatic driving. Adaptive cruise control and head-up display are optional. Perhaps the most notable change to the Cross Sport lineup will be under the hood. The 2023 Atlas and 2023 Atlas Cross Sport have two engine options, a 235-hp turbocharged four-cylinder and an optional 276-hp VR6. The VR6 features a unique V-engine layout, which has been a staple of VW pickup trucks for decades.

The 2024 model, however, will only offer one powertrain option. Turbocharged four-cylinder 269 hp is the only engine offered in the refreshed Cross Sport. Despite the output between the two outgoing engines, the towing capacity remains at 5,000 lbs. Performance data on fuel will not be released. Pricing has yet to be announced, but we expect a modest increase over the current Cross Sport MSRP. The 2023 model starts at $35,755 for the base SE trim and goes all the way up to $52,920, including the SEL Premium R-Line trim level.

VW hasn't set a release date yet, but we expect to see the 2024 Cross Sport later this year. It will go up against the Honda Passport, Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade.
