The 2024 Kia ​​Forte arrives with a few updates for the GT-Line model and higher prices for all grades. Check out the chart below to see how the price of each topping compares to last year. The 2024 Kia Forte GT-Line sees the biggest price increase, $630 over last year. 

However, it now comes standard with forward collision warning for cyclists, electronic parking brake, lane keeping assist and intelligent cruise control. These are the first features of the GT-Line Tech package, which Kia rolled out for the new model year.

Kia has no other changes for the 2024 Forte. Available engines include a 2.0-liter four-cylinder rated at 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. There is also a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The Kia Forte gets a refresh for the 2022 model year. It features a new version of the brand's tiger-nose grille and revised headlights. 

The GT model gets a front spoiler and diagonally arranged headlights. Advanced models have LED taillights. Inside, the standard display has increased from the previous 3.5 inches to 4.2 inches. The touchscreen infotainment screen has grown to 10.25 inches, up from 8.0 inches in the upgraded version. The Kia Forte also gets Android Auto wireless and Apple CarPlay. GT-Line and GT have synthetic leather upholstery.

It appears to be larger than the current model and appears to have a different style, including a vertical headlamp. Rumors suggest that the name may change to K3 or K4 to better suit the Optima's move to the K5. Powertrain details remain a mystery. 

We can't rule out hybrids, because Kia already has a great selection of light offerings in its range. With Kia unveiling the 2024 Rio now, don't expect the new one to debut until the 2025 model year at the earliest.
