After two years of meticulous engineering, British boutique builder Talos Vehicles has unveiled its most audacious creation yet: the Talos XXT a road-legal, track-honed evolution of the legendary Ferrari 599 GTB.

On the surface, it may look like a modified supercar. But make no mistake this is no mere restomod.

The XXT is closer to a 599XX race car for the public road, reimagined by a team that lives and breathes performance craftsmanship and yes it’s 100% street legal.

At its heart beats a heavily upgraded 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V-12, derived from the 599 GTB but tuned to deliver:

  • 674 horsepower 54 more than stock
  • 460 lb-ft of torque
  • A spine-tingling exhaust note that echoes Maranello’s finest

Power is sent through an F1 Superfast six-speed paddle-shift transmission, offering lightning-fast gear changes. For purists, Talos offers an optional manual gearbox because some drivers still want full control.

Performance is staggering:

  • 0–62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds
  • Top speed of 205 mph

It’s not just fast it’s ferocious.

Visually, the XXT channels the aggressive DNA of the 599XX Evo, Ferrari’s ultimate track-focused special:

  • Custom carbon-fiber body kit wider fenders, deeper front splitter, enlarged diffuser
  • Aerodynamic enhancements for increased downforce and cooling
  • 20-inch forged wheels, available with single-nut center locks a true motorsport touch

The design mimics the raw, functional beauty of a race car, yet remains fully compliant for road use.

Available in both left- and right-hand drive configurations, the XXT caters to global collectors.

Each XXT starts life as a genuine Ferrari 599 GTB donor car, which Talos then strips and rebuilds at its Yorkshire, England facility.

Only five units will ever be built, making it one of the rarest modern Ferrarified machines on the planet.

Buyers enjoy full bespoke personalization, including:

  • Custom paint (matte or gloss)
  • Interior trim options in leather, Alcantara, or racing fabric
  • Engine tuning upgrades
  • Optional roll cage for track enthusiasts
  • Choice of in-car entertainment systems because even extremists might want Bluetooth

This isn’t mass production. It’s automotive artistry.

The original Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano ruled from 2006 to 2012, becoming one of the last great front-engine V-12 grand tourers. Alongside variants like the 599 GTO, it laid the foundation for modern Ferrari performance.

Now, Talos resurrects its spirit not as nostalgia, but as evolution.

While Ferrari moved on to the F12berlinetta and now the 12Cilindri, Talos proves there’s still untapped potential in the 599 platform and they’re not new to this.

Talos has previously transformed Porsche 911s, Fiat 500s, Ford Sierra RS500s, and Land Rover Defenders always with precision, passion, and purpose. But the XXT? This is their masterpiece.
