The 2024 BMW X5 received a refresh earlier this year, and like the previous model, there is an armored version. 

The 2024 BMW X5 VR6 is expected to make its debut in September at the 2023 Munich Motor Show And now we have a description of this bulletproof SUV.

The main feature of the special BMW is that it is not easy to think of other X5. However, you won't find seating for five passengers; BMW says the 2024 X5 Protection VR6 is a dedicated four-seater "for comfort and safety". 

Other special features of the Protection VR6 include an intercom system to communicate with strangers, optional turn signals on the grille, rear lights, roof warning lights with a horn system, and a roof antenna with a receiver for digital radio. BMW also offers a special driver education program that offers "deceptive behavior training". BMW has created a dedicated part of its X5 factory in Spartanburg, North Carolina to build the armored SUV. Pricing information is still available, but the first deliveries are expected to begin in February 2024.
