Although the car may not be the most popular model on the market, Subaru gave the Outback a little refresh for 2023. With the car coming out with some minor changes, we don't expect to see anything new in the 2024 Subaru Outback. 

The 2024 Subaru Outback will continue to feature a strong design intended to emulate a crossover. 

The car's styling now features sharper headlights, front bumpers, and a circular grille. The Outback's large fender flares and high ride make it more than most outdoor SUVs. At the rear, the Subaru Outback has a large rear spoiler and C-shaped taillights.

The interior of the Subaru Outback depends a lot on the finish you get. The lower trims have a screen layout with a date stamp on the dash, while the upper trims use a single horizontal touchscreen. Whatever the layout, the Outback's dash is designed around the infotainment system that makes its way into the cabin. 

The car comes with a durable material that is easy to clean, and looks good, while passengers will find a lot of space. Because of its truck body, the Subaru Outback is capable of carrying loads. Subaru is not expected to make any changes to the 2024 Subaru Outback. Subaru offers the Outback standard with two seven-inch touchscreens, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, two USB ports, satellite radio and four speakers.

The top trim comes with an 11.6-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Harman Kardon 12-speaker sound system, wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hub and two additional USB ports. These features should continue in the 2024 Subaru Outback.

Currently, the Subaru Outback is available with two engines, which should continue to be offered in the 2024 model year. The main 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine produces 182 hp, while the 2.4-liter turbo four-cylinder is available at 260 hp. Both engines are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. All vehicles are standard.

In terms of safety, the 2024 Subaru Outback should have the same features as the car currently on sale. Features like automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane assist and light assist driving is standard. Available safety features include driver monitoring, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and rear-view alert. 

We expect the 2024 Subaru Outback to hit dealerships before the end of the year. Pricing for the car has not been announced. The 2024 model will start at $28,895 and go up to $42,795 (prices include destination).

There aren't many cars on sale anymore, so the Subaru Outback doesn't have direct competitors. Other vehicles available include the Audi A6 allroad, Audi A4 allroad, Volvo V60 Cross Country and Mercedes-Benz E-Class All Terrain.
