In an era dominated by silent electric hypercars boasting 1,000+ horsepower, one bold new British marque is pushing back not with more power, but with passion, purity, and purpose.
Meet the GP1 from Garagisti & Co., a brand-new supercar that dares to be different: naturally aspirated, rear-wheel drive, and most gloriously equipped with a manual transmission. No turbo lag. No synthetic soundtracks. No screens dominating the dashboard. Just you, the machine, and the open road.
And yes it currently exists only as a rendering. But if the vision becomes reality, it could be the most exciting analog supercar in decades.
At its core lies a masterpiece: a brand-new 6.6-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine, developed in collaboration with Italtecnica, a respected Italian motorsport engineering firm.
The numbers?
- 800 horsepower at 9,000 rpm
- Over 516 lb-ft of torque
- Zero turbos. Zero hybrids. Zero compromises.
This isn’t just an engine it’s a symphony. And Garagisti promises a soundtrack that will echo through canyons and along coastlines, reigniting the raw emotion that made supercars legendary.
Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a longitudinally mounted six-speed Xtrac manual gearbox, celebrated for its precision, tactility, and driver engagement. For purists, this alone makes the GP1 a dream come true.

With a curb weight of just 2,204 pounds (1,000 kg), the power-to-weight ratio rivals today’s fastest supercars and delivers explosive performance without relying on electrification.
Every mechanical component has been sourced from the best in the business:
- Brembo for braking
- Öhlins for suspension
- Proven suppliers with deep roots in high-level motorsport
This isn’t a car built for showrooms it’s engineered for the edge of grip, where every input matters.
Designed by Angel Guerra, former designer at Bugatti and Rimac, the GP1’s shape is pure rolling sculpture. Inspired by icons like the Lancia Stratos Zero, Lamborghini Countach, and the radical designs of Marcello Gandini, it channels the spirit of the 1970s wedge era reimagined for the modern age.
Key design highlights:
- Razor-sharp lines and aggressive stance
- One of the largest diffusers ever fitted to a road car
- Four prominent exhaust outlets center stage, as they should be
- Distinctive X-shaped LED taillights
- Aerodynamics refined for downforce and stability
It’s not just fast it’s visually arresting.

Inside, there are no oversized touchscreens or voice-activated assistants. Instead, the cabin embraces radical minimalism:
- Physical switches on a central tunnel
- Traditional gear lever within easy reach
- Two seats, focused entirely on the driver
The GP1 is not for everyone by design. Production is strictly limited to just 25 units worldwide, each priced at approximately $3.3 million USD (£2.45 million), excluding taxes, shipping, and bespoke customization.
But early buyers get more than just a car. The first 12 customers will gain access to the Open Doors program a rare invitation to meet the engineers and designers, tour the development process, and witness their GP1 being built by hand.
Deliveries are expected within months, as the project enters its final stages of development.
